    This is the first model.

    David, I have tried to incorporate some of the ideas that you gave me in the Photoshop image you sent me.

    The links in the menu (in the left column) point to content that won't exist until we have inserted some copy. The utility links below the menu do work. Please try out all three if you've got the time. The bottom one links to W3C.org (the site of the Web Standards Commitee) and checks the model for XHTML validity. As you will notice it checks out!

    There's a demo of a lightbox-and-tray in the page so you can see what one will look like. The showcase at the top of the page is text with a background image that will be different for every page (to add flavor).

    Please let me know what you think about this model.

    2003-10-10 The new version of model1 puts web-safe versions of the colors you sent me in the Photoshop demo. Please let me know if the colors aren't a close enough match.

    The container div has been left-aligned. The menu entries have been corrected. The tray has been moved below the lightbox. The groundtek.com head div has been removed from the page.
